Anthony has been with McElroy
Truck Lines since April of 2012, a short ten (10)
months. Shortly after his release from training,
Anthony was selected to become part of McElroy Truck
Lines’ Elite Driver Trainer Team. Anthony has
developed a “customer specific” Instructional
Handbook for his trainees which encompasses
everything from loading procedures and securement
requirements to individual facility rules and
policies that our drivers must follow to
professionally represent themselves and MTL. He
gives his trainees instant feedback and documents
their progress during training by video taping their
backing and close maneuver operations. By his
professional and ethical behavior, he sets the
standard that he demands from his trainees. After
their release from training, his “Drivers” keep in
regular contact with their Mentor and Teacher. We
don’t know if he can walk on water, as his trainees
regularly state when asked about how their training
went, but he just might. Mr. McElroy is proud to
recognize Anthony Vanderpleog as our Featured Driver
of the Quarter. |
